The Novosibirsk Mechanical Plant "ISKRA" has proceed to development of a new kind of production. The means of initiation of new generation represent a detonator with the built - in subminiature intelligent microcontroller. The basic area of use of such electronic detonators (EDEZ) - a mining industry, and also the Ministry of Emergency Measures and realization of so-called "velvet" explosions in an environment of building. The electronic detonators allow to carry out the initiation of group explosions with the specified time sequence. The times of a delay provided with electronic detonators, make 0+12 s, accuracy of the assignment of a delay -1 ms. At realization of group explosions the electronic detonators with the help of a two-wire explosive line connect through agreeing adapter to a portable control computer.
   Allowable length of a firing line over 3000 m., allowable quantity of detonators on one firing line up to 1000 pieces. The two-wire firing line is used as for energization to an electronic detonator, and for transfer of the coded commands to detonators and receptions of the reciprocal information from detonators. The operator (shotfirer) with the help of a computer can test the detonators on the mounted firing line to specify a sequence of detonation and to give out a command "blasting". After reception of a command "blasting" the detonator passes in a condition of a self-contained power supply, counts programmed time and works even if the firing line to this moment is destroyed. Each detonator has the individual identification number programmed during a production process of a detonator. Due to individual number the operator can apply to each detonator independently. Unlike the detonators with pyrotechnic delay the electronic detonators at recession do not give the smoldering fragments that makes their safe at application in dusty and gas-polluted mines.

   The detonators have the built - in protection against household sources of a current (the battery, accumulators, a network 220 V). It excludes an opportunity of the non-authorized application of such detonators. Presence at detonators of individual identification number allows to track the ways of outflow of detonators in case of their stealage. Though rather high cost of electronic detonators, about 5 % from all cost of explosion, use of such products are economically justified. The expected economic effect about 30 %. At the exact task of a sequence of detonation are raised the efficiency of use of explosive materials, the degree of rock fragmentation is improved. It allows to save on cost of explosive materials and boring. As the side effect, results it reduce to decreasing of emissions in an atmosphere and lowering of the seismicity.

   - notebook computer with the software,
   - the adapter agreeing a computer with an firing line,
   - electronic detonators not less than 100 000 piece on one complete of firmware,
   - an explosive wire (necessarily),
   - connecting clips on 2 piece on each detonator Within the framework of such delivery the enterprise provides training of the personnel and realization of the entrance control of the system by the practical blasting, the entering closing stage in the program of training.
