The pyrotechnical relay RP-D is a higher resistance tomechanical action. It is designed for making delays in blasting nets works of a detonating cord while surface blasting and also in mines, which are not gas- or dust-dangerous. It has 6 delay periods: 20, 30, 45,60, 80 and 100ms. Relay shells are marked with distinctive colors to identify delay periods. The relay consists of two blasting caps (KD) with delay located in connectors and connected to each other by a shock tube with the help of crimping through elastic sealing.

   Material of shells KDis aluminum or its alloys. The connectors have two big diameter holes for connecting type DSH-V detonating cord of normal capacity to the relay, and two small diameter holes for connecting detonating cord of low capacity type DSHM-E. RP-D relays are shipped from 150 up to 200 relays in one box. Number of UN 0384 Classification code 1.4S.
