Enterprise establishment date: the day of registering the Charter of the enterprise at Novosibirsk State Bank – April 29th, 1942.
Today ISKRA is the largest enterprise beyond the Urals producing blast initiation systems applied in mining and coal industry, minerals exploration, civil engineering blasting and explosive metalworking.
High technology production of means of blast initiation systems
The enterprise activity engages latest achievements in science, engineering, precision mechanics and modern special chemistry. ISKRA produces various blasting devices, electric detonators, primer and cord detonators, pyrotechnical relays and electric wires, as well as hunting cartridges. Alongside with the highest capacity production of different detonating cords meeting the world standards, ISKRA developed shock tube production technology and innovative non-electric blasting system.
International quality standards for blast initiation systems
The enterprise boasts of highly skilled employees, state-of-the-art instrumentation and all the necessary licenses. ISKRA is engaged in research and development to increase reliability and quality of products and start new projects as per customer requirements in collaboration with research institutions of the Siberian Department of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other scientific centers.
Vast experience manufacturing hunting and sports cartridges
In 1954 ISKRA launched the production of sports and hunting cartridges for smooth-bore guns 12 and 16 caliber. Plant experts developed unique high-speed cartridges with separated powder charge ISKRA-M and EXTRA-M. In demand among professionals and amateurs are sports cartridges for different shooting practices. Cartridges are assembled both from imported and home-made Russian component parts, including unique developments of the enterprise, protected by the patents of the Russian Federation. Assembly is made on special equipment, modernized for producing both conventional cartridges and cartridges with separated powder charge.
ISKRA has substantial experience in manufacturing reloading components, including corrosion-resistant safety primers for smooth-bore and rifle guns, plastic container wads designed specially for increased accuracy of shooting, and high-tensile frost-resistant environment friendly paper case.
All products of the enterprise are certified by testing laboratories in accordance with the requirements of the Russian State Certification System.
